About Razgar
Razgar Qaderpour (also known as Rzgar Kurdmir), is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of diverse, international experience in mental health care. His work is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and grow into their full potential.
He holds a Ph.D. in Couple and Family Therapy (also known as Couple and Family Counselling) and has practiced in Canada, Iran, and the part of Kurdistan located in Iraq. These personal and professional journeys, including growing up in a war-torn region and supporting immigrant communities have profoundly shaped his trauma-informed and client-centered approach. He recognizes that each person’s story is unique, and strives to create a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where healing and transformation can take root.
Razgar offers therapy in English, Kurdish, and Farsi, and works with teens, adults, couples, and families. Whether you're facing trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, he tailors treatment to reflect your unique goals, strengths, and cultural context.
He believes every client brings a rich life story. His role is to join you on your journey, offer fresh perspectives, and strengthen your resilience, so you can live a more fulfilling life in alignment with your values and mission.
